Comparison of the average contrasts obtained with sequential and multiple injections for a range of principal components used by the annular PCA to generate the reference PSF (between 10 and 45 principal components). The curves were computed at three different angular separations (2, 4, and 8 λ/D) using the SPHERE 1 data set of the EIDC.
