Location of the components of TYC 8378-252-1 in the log (Teff)–log (g) diagram (upper panel), log (age)–radius diagram (middle panel), and H–R diagram (lower panel). The Granada evolutionary tracks from ZAMS to TAMS (Claret 2006) for stars of 1.12 M (blue line) and 1.28 M (red line), corresponding to the primary and secondary stars, respectively, are displayed for Z = 0.007 in all panels. The middle panel displays the radial evolution of the component stars. As discussed in the text, the age of TYC 8378-252-1 was estimated as 3.98 ± 0.80 Gyr. The Padova isochrone line for an age of 3.98 Gyr (Bressan et al. 2012) is indicated by the dashed black curve superimposed on the H-R diagram. In all diagrams, filled and open circles represent the primary and secondary components, respectively. The vertical and horizontal lines are the error bars of the measured quantities.
